Colorful Mashed Potatoes

The perfect colorful mashed potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Onion
  • 300 g Mushrooms
  • 3 Servings Mashed potatoes
  • Cooked broccoli or other vegetable scraps
  • Salt
  1. Peel and finely dice the onion, clean and chop the mushrooms.
  2. Fry the onion cubes in a little oil, add the mushrooms and fry them.
  3. Vegetable leftovers from the day before, for me it was broccoli, possibly cut into small pieces and add to the mushrooms.
  4. Stir the mashed potatoes into the vegetables and warm up while stirring, season with salt.
  5. Can be eaten again as a side dish or with just a sauce as the main meal. As a main meal, leftover meat or sausages can also be added in if there are any.
