Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 egg whites
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 tsp food coloring, red
  • 1 tsp food coloring, blue

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Then slowly add a tablespoon of sugar at a time and stir in. Once everything is combined, divide the mixture into 3 parts. Add the red food coloring to one part and the blue food coloring to the other and stir until the color is evenly distributed. The third part remains white. Now fill the differently colored egg white mixtures individually into piping bags and pipe shapes (e.g. drops, sheep, clouds, flowers, hearts) onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. The size doesn’t matter, but larger shapes should not be much thicker than 1 cm. The pieces need to dry for about 90 minutes in an oven preheated to 100°C. After removing them from the baking paper, remove them as quickly as possible, as they can break very easily when cold. The mixture is enough for about 2 baking trays.
