Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 150 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 150 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 egg white
- 250 g powdered sugar
- Sugar sprinkles, colorful
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

You will need a 12-hole muffin tin or 12 silicone baking cups. Preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Beat the butter until fluffy. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and beat until smooth. Fold in the eggs, one at a time. Finally, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and milk into the batter. Fill the muffin cups 2/3 full with batter. Bake the muffins in the oven for about 15 minutes, then let them cool. For the glaze, beat the egg whites until semi-stiff. Add the powdered sugar and continue beating until thick. Spread the glaze over the muffins and sprinkle generously with the colorful sugar sprinkles. Alternatively, the muffins can be decorated with colorful sugar figures. The colorfully sprinkled muffins look pretty and are always a hit. Even with a little cousin who never eats anything new.
