Concealed Asparagus
The perfect concealed asparagus recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Fresh asparagus
- 4 Tomatoes
- 50 g Butter
- 3 tablespoon Bread flour
- 3 tablespoon Cream
- 2 Eggs
- Cooked ham
- Salt
- Pepper
- Peel the asparagus and place in a greased baking dish, wash the tomatoes, cut into slices and place on the asparagus, season with salt and pepper, cut the ham into small pieces and spread over the top.
- Stir the butter until foamy, stir in the breadcrumbs, cream, salt, pepper and egg yolk.
- Beat the egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff and carefully fold into the butter and egg mixture over the asparagus.
- Now bake it in the 170c oven with the lid closed for about 30 minutes, remove the lid 5 minutes before the end.
