Conny's macaroni casserole

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg macaroni
  • 700 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 500 ml cream
  • 4 m.-sized eggs
  • 400 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • some vegetable oil for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Combine the passata, cream, eggs, and half of the grated cheese in a bowl and mix. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked pasta and mix again. Grease a baking dish with oil and pour the pasta mixture into the dish. Spread the remaining cheese on top and place the dish in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
