Construction Worker Soup – Trapper Art

The perfect construction worker soup – trapper art recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Smoked pork roast
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 2 piece Fresh coarse sausage
  • 1 size Carrot
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1,5 piece Pepper fresh
  • 500 g Sauerkraut
  • 500 g Potatoes, about 6 pieces
  • 1,5 liter Vegetable broth
  • 1 pinch Pepper, paprika
  • 1 tbsp Clarified butter or oil
  1. Dice the kasseler, bacon, potatoes, onions and peppers. Cut the carrot into thin slices. Press out the contents of the sausage and form small balls.
  1. Heat the butter lard or oil in a large saucepan and sauté the smoked pork, bacon and onion in it. Add the carrot, bell pepper, potatoes and sauerkraut and sauté briefly. Season with pepper and paprika powder and deglaze with the vegetable stock. Now add the small meatballs and let everything simmer for about 3/4 hour.
  1. A crunchy baguette tastes good with it. Enjoy your meal!
