Chop the chocolate and refrigerate (depending on room temperature). Cream the butter or margarine with the brown and white sugar until fluffy. Stir in the vanilla sugar, egg, and a pinch of salt. Slowly knead in the flour, oats, and almonds with a little milk until the dough reaches a formable consistency. Finally, fold in the chopped chocolate. Form the dough into flat logs and cut into slices about 1cm wide. Roll these slices into balls and place them on a baking sheet, applying light pressure. Bake the cookies at 175°C for about 10-15 minutes. Other types of chocolate, such as dark chocolate, can be used instead of milk or white chocolate, depending on your taste.
