Cooking: Chicken Goulash

The perfect cooking: chicken goulash recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 550 g Chicken breast
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 50 ml Garlic seasoning oil … RZ in my KB
  • 2 tbsp Paprika pulp (Ajvar)
  • 1 tbsp Seasoning paste
  • 1 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp Orange-Chilli-Salt … RZ in my KB
  • 150 g Pointed peppers
  • 200 g Fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 100 ml Water
  1. Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Peel the garlic and cut into small pieces. Mix with seasoning oil, ajvar, seasoning paste, Pul Biber and salt. Add the meat and mix everything together. Let stand for about 30 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, wash the peppers, rub dry (peel if necessary), remove the seeds and cut into small pieces. Clean the mushrooms and cut into slices.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a pan, fry the paprika and mushrooms lightly in it.
  5. Then add the meat including the seasoning and stir everything together.
  6. When the meat is lightly seared, add water, set the stove to the lowest setting, put the lid on and let the whole thing stew for about 1 -1.5 hours. (It can also be shorter, but longer cooking times give the meat a better taste.)
  7. During this time, prepare the side dish. We had noodles with it.
  8. Then place the side dish and goulash with vegetables and sauce on a plate and serve.
