Cooking: Dumplings with Vegetable Sauce

  • 1 piece Yellow peppers
  • 2 piece Fresh shallots
  • 1 g Canned tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Garlic oil

  • 500 g Mixed minced meat

  • 1 liter Vegetable broth
  1. For the sauce, peel the carrots and cut them into slices. Peel the bell pepper, remove the seeds and the membranes and cut into small pieces. Peel the shallots and chop or chop.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté all 3 ingredients in it.
  3. Then add the canned tomatoes, mash them a little.
  4. Add the stock and season.
  5. Bring to the boil, then cook with the lid on for about 30-40 minutes
  6. In the meantime, prepare the dumplings. To do this, squeeze out the previously soaked bread roll and mix it with the minced meat, egg and the spices.
  7. Form 8-10 dumplings out of this mass.
  8. Bring the vegetable stock to a boil in a saucepan and cook the dumplings in it.
  9. When the carrots are soft, remove the sauce from the heat, let it cool down a little and then puree.
  10. Then put it back on the stove and reheat.
  11. Spread the finished sauce on plates and place the dumplings on top.
