Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 turkey schnitzels
- Flour, smooth
- Cornflakes, without sugar crust or similar.
- 2 eggs
- Salt
- Garlic
- Clarified butter or oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
American schnitzel
Lightly pound the schnitzels, cut a few notches around the edges to prevent them from curling, and rub them with freshly crushed garlic. Coat in flour and egg (a little salt). Then roll in cornflakes. If the cornflakes are too large, crush them slightly. Heat the oil in a pan, but not too hot, or the flakes will burn. Slowly fry the schnitzels until golden brown. Serve with any side dish.
