Cottage Cheese and Poppy Seed Cake
The perfect cottage cheese and poppy seed cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Quark
- 100 g Melted coconut oil or frying oil
- 2 Pc. Eggs
- 250 g Wholemeal spelled flour
- 100 g Xylitol
- 30 g Poppy
- 3 tsp Tartar baking powder
- 1 Msp Ground vanilla
- Put all the dough ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir together for approx. 30 seconds on speed 4. Put the dough into a greased bundt cake pan that has been dusted with flour and bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 190 degrees for approx. 45 – 60 minutes. Cover with baking foil approx. 15 minutes before the end of the baking time so that the surface does not get too dark.
- If you like, you can cover the cooled cake with a topping and decorate it.
