Cottage Cheese and Poppy Seed Cake

The perfect cottage cheese and poppy seed cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Quark
  • 100 g Melted coconut oil or frying oil
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 250 g Wholemeal spelled flour
  • 100 g Xylitol
  • 30 g Poppy
  • 3 tsp Tartar baking powder
  • 1 Msp Ground vanilla
  1. Put all the dough ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir together for approx. 30 seconds on speed 4. Put the dough into a greased bundt cake pan that has been dusted with flour and bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack at 190 degrees for approx. 45 – 60 minutes. Cover with baking foil approx. 15 minutes before the end of the baking time so that the surface does not get too dark.
  2. If you like, you can cover the cooled cake with a topping and decorate it.
