Councilor’s Pot

The perfect councilor’s pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Frying:

  • 200 g Pork goulash
  • 150 g Beef goulash
  • 100 g Sausages [ham sausage, bockwurst or Nuremberg sausage]
  • 12 piece Klopse, see KB
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 50 ml Sauce stock or sauce base
  • 1 tsp Food starch
  • 1 piece Onion, red or white
  • 4 piece Mushrooms
  • 6 st Cherry tomatoes or vine tomatoes
  • 100 ml White wine or red wine
  • 80 ml Water
  • 80 ml Cream
  • 100 g Cooked rice
  • 100 g Peas and carrots, TK
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 1 pinch Savory spice
  • 1 pinch Sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 pinch Salt

additionally at the table:

  • 1 shot Soup seasoning
  • 2 Pc. Rautenbrötchen or white bread, sliced
  • 2 Spreader Pepper and salt
  • 40 g Croutons, see m. KB

Councilor’s Pot:

  1. Fry the goulash and the sausages with the onion and stew with the vegetables and rice in a pan with a little frying oil and the sauce and cream. Season well and season to taste and serve in soup bowls.

On the table:

  1. Serve with a hearty Ratskeller Pilsener and white bread or pretzel bread. Of course you can also drink an excellent wine with it.

Leftovers:

  1. The good leftovers from the Sunday roast with sauce and vegetables are often used as the basis for this dish. Here it is listed separately from individual ingredients.
