Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 700 g minced meat, mixed
- 400 g mixed vegetables (corn, peas, carrots)
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 packs of mashed potatoes or homemade mashed potatoes
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 pack of cheese (Grana Padano), grated
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Minced meat casserole with mashed potatoes
Peel the onion, dice it, and sauté it lightly in a pan with heated oil until browned. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the vegetables in salted water until tender and drain. Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the instructions. Now, layer the meat first, then the vegetable mixture, and then the mashed potatoes on top in a casserole dish, adding more salt and pepper if desired. Finally, spread the grated cheese over the mashed potatoes and bake at around 210°C for about 20-30 minutes. When a nice golden crust has formed, it’s done. Take it out, serve, eat, done! Serve with a fresh seasonal salad.
