Courgette flower casserole filled with minced meat and mozzarella

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g minced meat, mixed
  • 16 zucchini blossoms
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 tbsp harissa
  • 100 g mozzarella, grated
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • e.g. basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Peel and dice the onion. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Finely chop the parsley. Season the minced meat with cream cheese, onion, garlic, parsley, harissa, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Place the diced tomatoes in a baking dish and season with salt, pepper, and basil. Fill the zucchini blossoms with the minced meat mixture. If there aren’t enough blossoms, form the remaining minced meat into balls. Place the zucchini blossoms and meatballs in the baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven with a fan grill at 150°C on the third shelf for 40 minutes.
