Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ¼ liter of water
  • 2 tbsp oil (lime oil)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 g couscous, instant
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 1 handful of cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • 2 pieces of butter, hazelnut-sized

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

refreshing side dish for grilling

Bring the water to a boil with 1 tablespoon of lime oil and 1 teaspoon of salt. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the couscous. Let it swell for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the butter pieces and fluff the couscous with a fork. Finely chop the spring onion, cucumber, and tomatoes and add them. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and a little more lime oil to prevent the couscous from becoming too dry. Season with salt.
