Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 jar of Bockwurst or Vienna sausages
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • some salt and pepper
  • some herbs, fresh
  • Lettuce leaves, fresh green

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finger food, snack

Cut the sausages into pieces about the length of your finger; you can also use the short ones or cut the wieners in half. Then cut into the ends, opposite each other. First make a cut downwards into one end of the sausage, not too far, just as far as the knife can reach. Then make the other cut on the other side of the sausage, exactly crosswise to the cut. The pictures will explain this better. Then fry the sausages in a little butter. The ends will spread out and gape apart due to the heat. Remove the individual sausages from the pan, drain and let cool, then serve on a salad sprinkled with fresh herbs.
