Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 roll (to taste ätter dough, from the refrigerated section
  • 200 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 125 g margarine
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g marzipan paste or more, depending on your taste
  • e.g. jam or sweet spreads e.g. plum jam, coconut cream, Nutella)
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Quick puff pastry cake for about 9 pieces

Using the dough hook on a hand mixer, knead the flour, sugar, margarine, cinnamon, and salt into crumbles. Roll out the puff pastry and divide it into pieces of any size. For example, I divided the puff pastry into 9 pieces. Then roll out the marzipan mixture thinly and cover the puff pastry pieces with it. (It also tastes good with plum jam or other jams or creams like Nutella instead of marzipan.) Once the puff pastry pieces are covered, sprinkle them with the prepared crumbles. Bake the pieces in a preheated oven at 225°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10-15 minutes and let cool. Then mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice to make a glaze and drizzle it over the Prasselkuchen. Instead of glaze, you can also dust everything with powdered sugar.
