Cream and quark dish with red currants

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • 2 pieces egg white
  • 250 g curd cheese, 20%
  • 10 pieces of cherry(s), Amarena-
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar, bourbon
  • some honey (flower honey)
  • 300 g currants, red
  • eggnog

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Pick the currants from the stems and wash them. Drain well. Place the berries in the bottom of a baking dish, for example. Reserve a handful of berries. Combine the heavy cream and egg whites in a tall mixing bowl and beat until stiff. Sweeten with vanilla sugar and a little honey. Stir in the quark. Pour the cream and quark over the berries and smooth the surface. Pour the advocaat over the surface (amount according to personal taste). Distribute the amaretto cherries and a few currants over the cream and quark and press them in lightly. Chill the quark dish in the refrigerator. This cream and quark dish also tastes delicious with fresh cherries or cherries from a jar.
