Tuna Tartar

The perfect tuna tartar recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Tuna in oil
  • 1 piece Pickled cucumber
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Capers
  • 0,5 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 piece Hard boiled egg
  • 3 tablespoon Sour cream
  • 20 g Parsley for garnish
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  1. For the tuna, drain the oil, place in a bowl and mash.
  2. Finely chop the cucumber, half an onion, egg and capers and add to the bowl together with the mustard, tomato paste, lemon juice and sour cream.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and stir well.
  4. Cut the other half of the onion into rings.
  5. Place the tartare on a plate and garnish with the onion rings and parsley
  6. For a party, double or triple the ingredients depending on the number of people.
