Ingredients
 

  • For the dough:
  • 250 g Flour
  • 125 g Cold butter
  • 80 g White sugar
  • 2 Free range eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • For the filling:
  • 600 g Tart apples
  • 500 g Quark
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 200 g White sugar
  • 2 Free range eggs
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 packet Chocolate pudding
  • 50 g Sliced ​​almonds

Instructions
 

  • Put the dough ingredients in a mixing bowl and make a shortcrust pastry. Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in foil and refrigerate for approx. 45 minutes.
  • Mix the quark with the mascarpone, sugar and eggs in a bowl. Add the vanilla sugar and the chocolate pudding and stir in.
  • Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into medium-sized cubes. Add the apple cubes to the quark mixture and fold in.
  • Roll out the dough on the base of the prepared springform pan and pull up an approx. 4 cm high edge. Put the quark apple mixture on the dough, smooth it out and sprinkle with the almond flakes.
  • Place the cake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees (convection) and bake for approx. 55 - 60 minutes. Cover the last 15 minutes with aluminum foil. When the baking time is over, take it out of the oven, let it cool down for 15 minutes, remove the edge of the springform pan and let it cool down on a cake rack.
