Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g cream cheese
- 1 tsp, heaped basil pesto, preferably homemade
- 2 tsp sour cream
- 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
- 6 basil leaves, possibly more

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
Also delicious as a dip
Place the cream cheese in a small bowl (make sure it’s pure cream cheese and not a cream cheese preparation like Philadelphia) and mix with the pesto. Add the sour cream and seasonings (be careful with the salt; you may not need any), chop the basil leaves, and mix everything together. Delicious as a spread or dip.
