Cream cheese with cherries

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 bottle of Cremefine whipping cream (250 g)
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 sachet of lemon flavor or a few dashes of lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Drain the cherries in a large sieve (reserving the juice for later use, if desired) and finely chop the chocolate. Mix the quark with the sugar and lemon flavoring or lemon juice until creamy. Whisk the Cremefine until very stiff and mix with the quark. Reserve a little for decoration, if desired. Stir the cherries, reserving a few for decoration, and the chocolate into the cream. Transfer to a large bowl or 6-8 dessert bowls and decorate with the remaining cream and cherries, if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Tip: The fruits can of course be varied as desired and swapped out depending on the season and what is available.
