Ingredients
 

Puff pastry roll

  • 2 roll Puff pastry
  • 200 g Strawberry jam
  • 3 tablespoon Powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Lemon juice

Custard cream

  • 6 medium sized Free range eggs
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 120 g Food starch
  • 2 piece Vanilla sticks / extract
  • 400 g Whipped cream
  • 1 liter Milk

Instructions
 

Preparing puff pastry

  • Put the puff pastry with the paper on the baking sheet. Always bake one roll. Prick the puff pastry with a fork. Place baked paper and a grid on the puff pastry. It must not rise. Depending on the oven, 200 top / bottom heat approx 14-15 minutes Baking. Do the same for the next roll.
  • In the meantime, heat the strawberry jam in a saucepan. Icing sugar with lemon juice, possibly a little water, if someone cannot handle so much lemon, stir into a medium-thin mixture.

Preparation of the cream

Mix the egg yolks with the remaining sugar, cornstarch and milk well and add. Then cook everything together until a thick cream is formed. Take out the vanilla sticks, be careful, they are hot.   • Now put the puff pastry with jam in a baking frame. You also need a square table mat. The cream is now nicely spread over the jam.
