Creamed carrots as a side dish

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1 tsp broth, granulated, possibly more
  • ½ tsp potato flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the carrots and slice them thinly. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and sauté the carrots. Sprinkle with the broth and potato flour, and deglaze with the cream. Cook everything for about 15 minutes with the lid on and simmer over low heat. Season to taste and add more salt and pepper, if desired.
