Creamed carrots with minced meat

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 750 g carrot(s)
  • 200 g cream or cremefine for cooking
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Parsley, fresh or frozen
  • 200 ml broth
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

easy and fast

Dice the onion. Peel and slice the carrots. Sauté the onion with the ground meat until crispy. Then deglaze with a little stock. Add the carrots and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Add more stock if needed. Finally, add the cream and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. I like to serve this with rice, but it also works with boiled potatoes or pasta.
