  • 4 pork schnitzels
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper from the mill
  • n. B. Flour
  • ¼ liter beef broth
  • ¼ liter cream
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pound the schnitzels, season with salt and pepper, and dust with flour. Brown them on both sides in a pan with olive oil and remove from the pan. Pour 1/4 l beef broth and 1/4 l cream into the pan. Stir in about 2 tablespoons of crème fraîche. Bring the sauce to a boil, add the schnitzels back in, and simmer over medium heat (covered) for about 20 minutes. Season the sauce to taste, adding more pepper and salt if desired. I serve it with buttered spaetzle and a green salad.
