Crispy apples with ice cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 apples, e.g. Elstar
  • ½ cup(s) brown sugar
  • ½ cup(s) oatmeal
  • ½ cup(s) flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup(s) butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes

Cut the apples into thin slices and place them in an ovenproof dish (a small round dish per person works best). Mix all the other ingredients and sprinkle over the apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C/Gas Mark 3 for about 30 minutes. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center and serve lukewarm.
