Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g butter
  • 150 g marzipan paste
  • 100 g sugar
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 1 pack of sauce powder, vanilla
  • 2 jars of sour cherries, 720 ml each
  • 1 tbsp jam (cherry)
  • Fat, for the shape
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool slightly. Coarsely grate the marzipan. Knead the marzipan, 100g sugar, flour, egg, and butter into crumbles. Grease a 26cm springform pan and pour 2/3 of the crumbles into the pan, pressing down to form a raised edge. Chill for about 30 minutes. Mix the crème fraîche with 1 tablespoon of sugar and the gravy powder. Spread the crème fraîche on the base and smooth it down. Drain the cherries well in a sieve and mix with the jam. Place on top of the crème fraîche and scatter the remaining crumbles on top. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes. After baking, let it cool completely and dust with powdered sugar.
