Crispy Chicken and Pepper Pizza
The perfect crispy chicken and pepper pizza recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Pizza dough:
- 300 g Spelled flour type 630
- 1 tsp Salt
- 150 ml Water warm
- 10 g Fresh yeast
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
Tomato sauce:
- 200 g Tomatoes
- 1 small Onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 50 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 1 Bay leaf fresh
- 2 Sage leaves
- 2 Rosemary fresh
- 2 Seasoned salt from my KB
- 2 Garlic pepper from my KB
Covering:
- 1 Bullet Mozzarella
- 300 g Cooked soup chicken
- 1 smaller Red pointed peppers
- 1 smaller Pointed peppers yellow
- 1 small can Corn grains
- 100 g Grated Emmental
- 100 g Chilli from the mill
Pizza dough:
- Mix the flour and salt. Make a well in the mixture and pour warm water into it, dissolve the yeast in it and dust a little with flour, cover. Until it bubbles. Then knead everything and add the oil. Cover and let rise for about 3 hours.
Tomato sauce:
- In the meantime, wash the tomatoes, quarter them and remove the stalk. Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. Wash herbs. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and fry the onions / garlic until translucent, then roast the tomato paste and add the tomatoes. Mix well. Deglaze with water and add herbs. Simmer everything for about 30 minutes over low heat.
- Then season with vinegar, garlic pepper and seasoned salt. P.S. Tomatoes can also be blanched, peeled and pitted. But with us everything stays in place! 🙂 We like seeds & pods!
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees!
- Knead the pizza dough again with a little flour and roll and pull on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread the tomato sauce on top and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, right at the bottom of the oven! So the dough is nice and crispy afterwards and you can eat the pizza with your hands without it getting stuck! 😀
Covering:
- Clean and wash the peppers and cut into strips. If necessary, chop the chicken a little more and pluck the mozzarella.
Cover and bake pizza:
- Take the pre-baked pizza out of the oven, let it cool down briefly and top it with mozzarella, then add the chicken and paprika and sprinkle with grated cheese again. Put the pizza back in the bottom of the oven and bake for about 10 minutes!
- Who likes sprinkling the pizza with chilli flakes! Serve!
