Crispy Packets Made from Filo Pastry
The perfect crispy packets made from filo pastry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 packet Filo pastry sheets
- 500 g Mixed minced meat
- 1 packet Feta
- 1,5 tbsp Pesto verde
- 8 Sun-Dried tomatoes in oil
- 1 tuber Thai – garlic OR
- 2 Toes Garlic
- Salt and
- Pepper to taste
- Olive oil to brush on
- For the dip:
- 2 a cup Sour cream or sour cream
- 3 tbsp Fresh herbs to taste
- Salt and
- Pepper to taste
Filling:
- – From feta, sep. Make a paste of tomatoes, garlic, pesto, salt and pepper in a blender. – Sear the minced meat in the pan and then mix it with the paste while it is still warm.
Packet:
- – Quarter the filo leaves. – Always place two quarters crosswise on top of each other, brush with a mixture of water and olive oil in between. – Put about 1 heaped teaspoon of the filling in the middle. – Fold up the tips and press them together directly above the filling, so that a small package is created. Then put in a mini muffin tin. Brush the tips with the oil-water mixture. – At 180 ° C approx. 20 minutes. Bake until golden brown.
Dip:
- – Beat the sour cream until smooth. – Season to taste with salt, pepper and the fresh herbs and serve with the filo packets.
