Crispy Sticks

The perfect crispy sticks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 packet Puff pastry roll
  • 1 packet Grated Emmental
  • 1 packet Ham cubes
  • 1 Egg
  • Poppy
  • Sesame
  1. Fry the ham cubes in a pan and allow to cool
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  3. Roll up a pack of puff pastry, leave the paper on, and spread the diced ham and half a pack of grated cheese over the pastry.
  4. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top. Peel off the paper from it. Brush the puff pastry with the beaten egg and then sprinkle with poppy seeds and sesame seeds as desired. Sprinkle half of the rest of the cheese on top and then turn the whole thing with the paper, peel off the paper and brush and sprinkle the other side.
  5. Then cut the sheet of dough into long or short strips. Place the strips in a slightly twisted spiral on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
