Crispy tuna

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 cans of tuna in oil
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 25 g butter
  • 25 g flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 50 g breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Drain the tuna oil into a small pan, heat it, and sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Tear the tuna into small pieces and place it in a buttered casserole dish. Spread the onion over the tuna. Combine the milk and flour in a saucepan, add the butter, and heat until the sauce thickens. Stir in half of the cheese. Slice the tomatoes and layer them on top of the fish and onions, then pour the cheese sauce over them. Mix the breadcrumbs with the remaining cheese and sprinkle on top. Bake in the oven at 200°C until golden brown. Serve with crusty baguette and a green salad.
