Croissant with goat's cheese and thyme

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 275 g puff pastry, from the refrigerated section
  • 150 g goat’s cheese
  • 100 g goat cheese
  • 1 tsp, heaped thyme, dried
  • 3 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

vegetarian, makes about 7 – 8 croissants

Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat). Roll out the puff pastry and spread the goat’s cheese on the puff pastry. Sprinkle the thyme on top. Cut the pastry into 7 to 8 triangles. Crumble the goat’s cheese roll and spread it on the widest sides of the triangles. Drizzle a little honey on each triangle and roll the triangles into croissants. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
