Crostini with goat's cheese, green asparagus and ham

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) Ciabatta
  • 1 tbsp goat’s cheese
  • ½ slice(s) ham, thinly sliced
  • ½ stalk(s) asparagus, green
  • some pepper, freshly ground
  • some sea salt, coarse
  • some oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the lower third of the asparagus, remove any tough ends, and cut into pieces. Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan and fry the asparagus. Add a little water and cook over low heat until the asparagus is tender enough to bite. Allow the water to evaporate. Let the asparagus cool on a plate. Tear the ham into pieces or cut into strips and roll them up. Toast the bread under the oven grill (or in a toaster for smaller quantities) until crisp and lightly browned. Spread the toasted slice of bread with goat’s cheese, arrange the asparagus and ham on top, and sprinkle with pepper and coarse sea salt.
