Croutons for salads

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 slices of toast
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp dried herbs, as desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Trim the edges of the slices of toast and cut them into approximately 1 cm cubes. Combine the olive oil with the dried herbs and gradually stir them into the bread cubes. Spread them out on a baking sheet. The cubes should not overlap. Bake the croutons at 170°C (convection oven) for approximately 10-15 minutes, until crispy and lightly browned.
