with the simplest ingredients

Beat the butter until smooth. Stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar, add one egg at a time and mix well. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir briefly. In a well-greased springform pan (28 cm diameter), use a little batter to form a rim about 4 cm high, then spread the remaining batter on the bottom. For the filling, heat the applesauce. Meanwhile, mix the pudding mix with a little liquid to prevent lumps. Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces. When the applesauce is hot, add the pudding mix and the apple pieces. After stirring for about a minute, pour the hot pudding onto the batter. For the crumble, mix all the ingredients together with your hands. Then spread the crumble evenly over the pudding. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (top/bottom heat) on the bottom rack for about 60 minutes. Once it has cooled slightly, refrigerate the cake so the filling sets. The cake contains approximately 340 kcal per serving.
