Crunchy Apple Rings with Marzipan Cream

The perfect crunchy apple rings with marzipan cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Apples

  • 2 Apples
  • 2 Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Marzipan cream

  • 30 g Marzipan
  • 125 ml Cream, substitute for whipping
  • 125 ml Powdered sugar

to decorate

  • Walnut kernels
  • Flaked almonds

Apples

  1. Wash the apples well, rub dry with an apple cutter, remove the core and cut into thick slices
  2. Melt some butter in a pan and fry the apples on both sides.
  3. Now add the honey and cinnamon and cook for another 2 minutes.

Marzipan cream

  1. Chop the marzipan a little and heat it with half of the cream while stirring until the marzipan has dissolved — Let it cool down —
  2. Add the rest of the cream to the mrazipan cream and whip with a little icing sugar until stiff.

Decorate

  1. Place the warm apples on a plate, add marzipan cream and sprinkle with walnuts and flaked almonds
