Crunchy Apple Rings with Marzipan Cream
The perfect crunchy apple rings with marzipan cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Apples
- 2 Apples
- 2 Butter
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Marzipan cream
- 30 g Marzipan
- 125 ml Cream, substitute for whipping
- 125 ml Powdered sugar
to decorate
- Walnut kernels
- Flaked almonds
Apples
- Wash the apples well, rub dry with an apple cutter, remove the core and cut into thick slices
- Melt some butter in a pan and fry the apples on both sides.
- Now add the honey and cinnamon and cook for another 2 minutes.
Marzipan cream
- Chop the marzipan a little and heat it with half of the cream while stirring until the marzipan has dissolved — Let it cool down —
- Add the rest of the cream to the mrazipan cream and whip with a little icing sugar until stiff.
Decorate
- Place the warm apples on a plate, add marzipan cream and sprinkle with walnuts and flaked almonds
