Ingredients

  • 120 g Oatmeal
  • 85 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 0,5 tsp Cinammon
  • 0,5 tsp Sea salt
  • 110 g Butter
  • 150 g Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Egg
  • 100 g Walnuts
  • 100 g Dark chocolate

Instructions

  • Mix the softened butter together with the sugar with a hand mixer until creamy. Then add the egg and vanilla extract and stir everything well.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour with the oat flakes, baking soda, cinnamon and sea salt and then gradually add to the butter-sugar mixture. Stir everything until a homogeneous mass is formed.
  • Finely chop the walnuts and coarsely chop the chocolate. Add both to the dough and mix in briefly (the dough should be dry and relatively firm). Cover the bowl with cling film and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 175 ° C (top and bottom heat).
  • Form balls out of a well-heaped teaspoon of dough with your hands and place them on the prepared baking sheet at a distance of approx. 3 cm. Bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes (no longer, otherwise they will be too hard). Enjoy your meal!
