Soft Walnut – Hazelnut – Chocolate Cookies

The perfect soft walnut – hazelnut – chocolate cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Soft butter
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 350 g Flour
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon Cocoa powder, slightly de-oiled, unsweetened (heaped spoons)
  • 3 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon Ground hazelnut (heaped spoon)
  1. 1. Oven to 180 degrees convection or 200 degrees top / bottom heat (convection is preferred) 2. Mix butter at room temperature with the sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl until it is a homogeneous mass 3. Coarse walnuts with a knife on a suitable Chop the base 4. Put the eggs, flour, baking powder, cocoa, chopped walnuts, ground hazelnuts and the oil in the mixing bowl and stir in. 5. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and portion with two teaspoons of dough. The amount per cookie should be about 1.5 – 2 times the mass of a hazelnut. The cookies melt a little while baking and rise. Therefore, make a space of around two fingers all around. Baking time: 12 minutes on the middle rack
