Cucumber and ham pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers or the equivalent amount of garden cucumbers
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • butter
  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • 300 g cooked ham
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the cucumbers or cucumbers, cut them lengthwise, remove the seeds with a spoon, and cut into pieces. Peel the spring onions and slice them into thin rings. Dice the ham. Sauté the onions in butter, add the diced ham, and sauté gently. Do not allow any of the onions to brown. Top with the cream, season with salt and pepper, add the cucumber pieces, and bring to a boil. Season again to taste and sprinkle with chopped dill. Serve with boiled potatoes or baguette.
