Cucumber pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 2 onions, red
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 30 g butter
  • 150 ml broth
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar, white
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 250 g ham, cooked
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs, frozen
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the cucumbers, halve them lengthwise, scrape out the seeds if necessary, and cut into approximately 1 cm wide slices. Slice the onions into strips. Finely chop the garlic. Sauté the onions and garlic in the butter until translucent. Add the cucumbers and season with pepper and a little sugar. Add the stock and balsamic vinegar and simmer for about 5 minutes. Then add the cream and reduce the mixture slightly. Meanwhile, slice the cooked ham into strips and add it. Finally, stir in the chopped herbs. Add a little salt, if desired. Serve with boiled potatoes or rice.
