Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (heaped)
  • Milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil (linseed oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

with milk, that’s how it’s made in my family

Thinly slice the cucumber, season with salt, and let it sit. Then drain any excess liquid. Stir the mayonnaise and a splash of milk into the cucumber and season the salad with salt and pepper. Drizzle with a little linseed oil. It tastes great with mashed potatoes and scrambled eggs!
