Cucumber Salad in Cream and Dill Sauce

The perfect cucumber salad in cream and dill sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 1 small Onion
  • 4 tbsp Mild white wine vinegar
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 0,5 bunch Dill
  • 0,5 tsp Sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  1. Peel the cucumber and grate it into very thin slices. Season well with salt and let it steep for about 30 minutes. The salt removes the water from the cucumbers.
  2. In the meantime, prepare the dressing. To do this, peel the onion and dice it very finely. Add the vinegar, sugar, cream, the finely chopped dill and ground pepper.
  3. Squeeze out the cucumber slices and add to the dressing. Season only a little with salt, if at all necessary. Chill the lettuce for another 30 minutes and let it steep.
