Cucumber salad with crème fraîche and wasabi dressing

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 2 onions, red
  • 1 lime(s)
  • 1 tsp wasabi paste, more to taste
  • a few stalks of coriander
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • chili
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash, peel, and deseed the cucumbers, then slice them into long strips using a vegetable peeler. Peel the onions and garlic clove. Dice the garlic and finely slice the onions. Place everything in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, freshly ground chili, and sugar. Grate the lime zest and squeeze out the juice. Mix the crème fraîche with the lime juice, lime zest, and wasabi paste, then stir in the finely chopped cilantro. Add to the salad and gently toss to combine.
