Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 gherkins
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • 1 slice(s) of cooked ham
  • 1 tsp salad mayonnaise
  • 1 slice(s) butter cheese
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Thinly slice the gherkins along one long side to ensure they stand upright. Wash the lettuce leaf and pat dry. Spread the cheese thinly with mayonnaise. Place the ham on top and press down. Spread another thin layer of mayonnaise and place the lettuce leaf on top. Cut everything into 4 strips and roll each one up. Insert a wooden skewer into the back third of the gherkins. Pierce two holes in the front of each one with a wooden skewer. Trim the chives to about 3 cm and insert them into the holes.
