Cucumber snake 'Kaa'

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 150 g meat sausage
  • 250 g pumpernickel, in round slices
  • ¼ bell pepper(s)
  • 2 small cherry tomatoes

Wash the cucumber thoroughly and slice at the base of the stalk, leaving a piece about 5 cm (2 inches) (the snake’s head). Skin the sausage and cut into thin slices. Cut a 2/3 cut into the snake’s head from the base of the stalk, cut a quarter of the bell pepper into a snake’s tongue, and wedge it into the head. Stick the cherry tomatoes onto the head with toothpicks for the eyes. Arrange the snake’s head on a platter and alternate slices of bread, cucumber, and sausage to form the body. Place the pointed end of the cucumber last.
