Cucumber vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 m.-large cucumber(s)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • some fat
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup(s) cream or buttermilk
  • little water
  • some salt
  • some vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the cucumbers and slice them into sticks. Sauté the onion and cucumber in the fat until translucent. Then, mix a tablespoon of flour with 1 cup of cream or buttermilk until smooth, dilute with a little water, and add to the pre-sautéed cucumbers. Season lightly with salt and vinegar and let the cucumbers soften completely. Tastes great with boiled or boiled potatoes.
