Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 40 g butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • 375 g cooked ham, cut into strips
  • 125 ml cream
  • 1 bunch dill, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Main course

Peel and deseed the cucumbers, and cut into finger-thick strips. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the butter in a saucepan and sauté the finely chopped onion with the cucumbers. Season with salt, sugar, pepper, and vinegar. Reduce the liquid. Sprinkle the flour over the cucumbers and fry until golden brown, then add the vegetable stock. Add the sliced ​​ham. Season with cream and sprinkle with chopped dill. Serve with boiled potatoes.
