Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 sheet of dough (strudel dough)
- 125 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 600 g quark (cottage cheese)
- 1 tbsp pudding powder, vanilla flavor
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 cl rum
- 30 g sour cream
- some lemon(s), zest
- 20 g butter for spreading
- 6 apricots, halved
Instructions

Simple yet special!
Beat the butter and sugar well, slowly add the eggs, stir in the curd cheese, then stir in the pudding powder, vanilla sugar, rum, sour cream, and a little lemon zest. Lay the strudel dough on a cloth. Spread the mixture in a stripe along the bottom edge (leaving a border on the left and right) and place the apricot halves on top. Fold in the sides of the strudel sheet and brush all edges with melted butter. Carefully roll up the strudel using the cloth, place it on a greased baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and bake at 175°C for about 40 minutes.
