Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 60 g sugar
  • 140 g butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 500 g quark (cottage cheese)
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 160 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Shortcrust pastry + curd filling + snow topping

Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, butter, sugar, and egg yolks. Spread a thin layer on a baking sheet and bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes until light brown. Allow the baked pastry to cool. Cottage cheese mixture: Mix together the cottage cheese, softened butter, egg yolks, and vanilla sugar. Snow mixture: Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff. Spread the cottage cheese mixture onto the cooled pastry, then spread the snow mixture over the cottage cheese mixture. Bake at the same temperature for about 10 minutes, until the snow is lightly browned. Once cooled, cut into slices.
